【Event Highlights】Unveiling Ceremony for the Research Center for Critical Issues (RCCI) and Academia Sinica South Campus Service Office
On March 28, 2024, the "2024 Academic and Administrative Strategic Planning Meeting" was held at the Shalun campus in Tainan. Taking advantage of the gathering of nearly a hundred colleagues, a ceremony was held to mark the official launch of the Research Center for Critical Issues (RCCI) and the South Campus Service Office.
The academic and administrative infrastructure of the Southern Campus is now progressively complete. Research teams specializing in key areas such as Net-Zero, Quantum Technology, Marine Energy, and Solar Cell technology have already moved into the RCCI facilities. Furthermore, starting in April, the "Humanities and Social Sciences Research Base" will officially open to the public. This facility includes a newly established "Digital Archives Room" providing access to specialized databases and digital collections, all of which are now fully operational at the South Campus.
